كشفت تقارير صحفية إيطالية، أن هناك ناديًا سعوديًا يسعى للتعاقد مع ماورو إيكاردي، لاعب فريق جالطة سراي المعار من باريس سان جيرمان الفرنسي.

إيكاردي الذي فاز بالدوري التركي مع جالطة سراي، من المفترض أن يعود إلى باريس سان جيرمان هذا الصيف، بعد نهاية فترة إعارته.

فابريزيو رومانو الصحفي الإيطالي بشبكة “سكاي” والموثوق بشأن عقود اللاعبين وسوق الانتقالات، أكد أن التعاون السعودي مستعد لتقديم عرض لـ ماورو إيكاردي، من أجل ضمه خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية المقبلة، في إطار تدعيمات الأندية السعودية للمنافسة على دوري روشن.

رومانو أشار إلى أن إيكاردي سيدرس العرض، لكنه سعيد جدًا في جالطة سراي ويريد الاستمرار، ولم يتخذ أي قرار الآن، منتظرًا ما سيقرره باريس سان جيرمان.

إيكاردي خاض في الموسم المنصرم 26 مباراة مع جالطة سراي، وسجل 23 وصنع 7، وهي أرقام لم يحققها الأرجنتيني منذ أن كان في إنتر ميلان.

There was something for them to cling to in the closing stages of the third day in Auckland as they reduced New Zealand to 8 for 3 after they had not been asked to follow-on, but the home side’s lead still stands at an imposing 274.In a manic 13-over period at the end of England’s innings and start of New Zealand’s second, seven wickets fell for 12 runs. However, the defining passage of the day came much earlier as England slumped to 72 for 5 in the morning session against a swinging ball that they failed to cope with. Of their final total of 204, 101 came in a partnership between Prior and Joe Root, which shows the paucity of what else was on offer.England are now starring at only their second series defeat in New Zealand unless they can chase down a large total – the highest successful chase at Eden Park is 345 – or bat out time to leave the contest at 0-0. Prior, who has had an impressive match with bat and gloves, tried to keep a sense of perspective about the situation.”I know it feels like the world’s over, but it’s not really,” he said. “We’ve got some very good cricketers who can put in match-winning, or match-saving performances. The thing I love about this team is we might do it the hard way, but we fight – and we keep fighting.”We’ve shown that in Dunedin and in Nagpur. Brett Lee walked into the Cricket New South Wales office on Wednesday charged with bringing the game into disrepute. He walked out of it a few hours later with a place at the table of a board sub-committee devised to address problems in the game in the state.In a result he called a “great win”, Lee escaped punishment over his criticism of Cricket New South Wales and its chief executive David Gilbert. Lee was reported by CNSW over the comments he made in an interview with Fairfax Media and was due to face a Cricket Australia disciplinary hearing, but on Wednesday Cricket New South Wales announced the charges had been withdrawn.Instead, Lee was invited to contribute to a sub-committee of the state board, which will be set up immediately “to address issues as to the future direction of cricket in New South Wales”. Lee, who in his original interview said he believed Gilbert should be sacked and that the head coach Anthony Stuart had been made a scapegoat for the team’s struggles, said the result was a victory for common sense.”For them to drop all charges in regards to bringing the game into disrepute, I’m really happy about,” Lee said after the hearing. “On a pleasing note also, it’s my chance now to meet with the sub-committee of the board, which they actually invited me to do so, to have a chat with them and improve what’s happening with NSW cricket and moving forward.”I can’t say much more on what happened, but I’m really pleased with the outcome, really pleased we’ve come to an agreement, that all charges were dropped, and looking forward in the next seven to 12 days to meet with the sub-committee of the board to move forward and get this state back to where it used to be.”The last 10 years it’s been going through some tough times. I’m looking forward to hopefully improving that and getting NSW back to where it was. I bleed blue, and it’s a huge part of me.”It is believed that the charge brought by CNSW against Lee would have had trouble sticking on a technical level because the association missed the code of conduct deadline for filing a report to Cricket Australia.When queried about how he now viewed Gilbert and his role in NSW, Lee declined to comment. “We’ll have to wait and see,” he said. “I’m not in the position to comment on that.
