The ICC said in a statement that it had also considered Hambantota as an alternate venue, but heavy rain in the southern Sri Lankan region ruled out that option.The two games, Sri Lanka versus the Netherlands on February 12, and Kenya versus the Netherlands on February 15, will be day games. This does not affect the three tournament fixtures scheduled to take place at Pallekele in March.The decision to move the games from Pallekele was made following a recommendation by ICC pitch consultant Andy Atkinson after he inspected the venue on Wednesday. Heavy rain in the region had affected the preparation of the pitches.

وأضاف فيتوريا في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “أون تايم سبورتس”: “ليس معنى ذلك أن هنا لا يوجد احتراف، ولكن مع التنظيم وحضور الجماهير وإعداد اللاعب بشكل منفرد سيكون أكثر تنظيمًا وتنافسًا”.

وأردف: “لكن في الوطن العربي التركيز ليس أكبر قوة وحياته الشخصية ليست على قدر من الاحترافية الكافية، بجانب قوة الدوريات، في أوروبا الأمر يتم بشكل أكثر جدية”.

وتابع: “سعيد جدًا بالعمل مع حازم إمام والاتحاد المصري، سعدنا جدًا بعملنا وفعلنا شيئًا واضحًا لابد أن نستمر في مهمتنا وعملنا، لكن لا بد أن نركز جيدًا”.

واستكمل: “عندما وصلت إلى مصر ذهبت لاشاهد كل مباريات الدوري، كان لا يوجد شيء جيدًا بدون حضور جماهير، وعندما حدث اتصال مع اللاعبين، اعجبت جدًا بهم والأسلوب الذي عملنا به في وقت قصير، وهذ كان شيئًا رائعًا بالنسبة لي، أول أسبوع لي كمدرب في المنتخب شعرت أنني قضيت وقت طويل مع اللاعبين”.

واستطرد: “المنتخب المصري أفضل مجموعة تعاملت معها، أريد أن أكون صريحًا مع الشعب المصري هناك عمل كثير ينتظرنا، لابد أن نعمل لا بد من خلق لاعبين جدد”.

واستأنف: “كان جيدًا من جوارديولا أن يتحدث عني في كتابه، واجهت بايرن ميونخ وأنا مدربًا لبنفيكا، والفريق الألماني فاز بهدف وسط 70 ألف متفرج، والفرق البرتغالية التي لعبت قبلنا كانت قد خسرت بسباعية، ولكننا خسرنا بهدف وأدينا مباراة جيدة جدًا، والإشارة في كتابه كانت على أسلوب الدفاع الذي لعبنا به”.

وكشف: “مورينيو أقرب إلى قلبي أكثر من جوارديولا، ونتبادل الرسائل على فترات”.

New Zealand endured a fruitless morning session, tied Pakistan down after lunch for Younis Khan’s bonus wicket, and struck thrice with the second new ball after tea. Barring the first and the last hours, Pakistan were kept quiet through the day, and were still trailing by 122 runs at stumps with the tail in.Almost nothing happened for New Zealand till the second new ball. Younis and Azhar Ali put on their fourth century stand of the year before the former gifted his wicket after seeming set for what would have been his fifth century in four Tests. James Neesham bowled it short and wide, and Younis slammed it straight to cover to depart for 72.There were still no alarms for Pakistan, as Azhar and Misbah-ul-Haq added a steady 50. New Zealand took the second new ball five overs after tea. There had been next to no movement for New Zealand with the first new ball, and slight reverse swing as it got old. But the second one swung more, and Trent Boult sent Misbah back on 28 off his fourth delivery with it.He set the Pakistan captain up with a couple of inswingers before one went across with the angle and took the edge to first slip. It was Boult’s first wicket in his 48th over of the series, and also the first time that a catch had been taken in the slips off a fast bowler for this series and Pakistan’s previous one against Australia.The legspinner Ish Sodhi was brought on after nine overs from the fast bowlers and he struck immediately, removing the stubborn Azhar Ali. Sodhi had delivered quite a few boundary balls, and gave Azhar a long hop in that over, but the last ball came on quicker and hit the stumps after brushing the pad. Azhar batted over five hours and faced 225 deliveries for his 75, during which he hit his fourth six in Test cricket, the last one having come on the same ground against England in February 2012.Three overs later, Asad Shafiq shouldered arms to a Boult front-foot no-ball and lost his bails to an incoming delivery from round the stumps. Shafiq was on 21 then, and he and Sarfraz Ahmed countered with by far the quickest partnership of the match, adding 59 inside 15 overs.Sarfraz looked to score almost every ball, stepping out against the spinners and also using the sweep. Shafiq played some pleasing flicks, but he threw it away in the penultimate over of the day, slashing Tim Southee to wide slip on 44. It was also Southee’s first wicket in his 53rd over of the series.Pakistan took 65 runs in the final hour, 50 runs in the first, and managed 132 in the rest of the day. The New Zealand spinners probed away without success in the morning against a positive Younis and a solid Azhar. Pakistan began on a shaky 34 for 2 but barring the odd delivery from the spinners, Younis and Azhar were in total control. There was no movement again for the fast bowlers, despite a change of balls after the second over of the day, with the stitching of the seam coming off.The offspinner Mark Craig tested Younis from both sides of the wicket, tossing it up, pushing some wide, and varying his pace. But Younis never allowed Craig to tie him down as he stepped out repeatedly to hit the offspinner for sixes and fours over midwicket. When Craig changed the angle, Younis drove him through cover and kept leaving the crease.New Zealand turned to pace for the first 15 overs after lunch, and Younis and Azhar were kept quiet with tight lines and some reverse swing. The wicketkeeper often stood up to the fast bowlers to prevent the batsmen from standing outside the crease to counter the movement. Barring a couple of run-out opportunities, though, New Zealand did not create any chances in that period. However, they conceded only 23 runs in the first hour after lunch, bowling wide outside off at times with a packed infield. It was one such long hop from Neesham that Younis fell to as he looked for some release in the second over after drinks.The spinners were brought back after Younis’ exit and Azhar and Misbah hit a few boundaries till tea before New Zealand turned it around in the evening.

تحدث البرازيلي رودريجو مهاجم ريال مدريد، عن دوره مع منتخب بلاده وفريقه، وكشف عن حديثه مع زميله فيدي فالفيردي، قبل مباراة أوروجواي في التصفيات المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026.

وقال رودريجو في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “لقد أوضحت دائمًا أن لدي القدرة على اللعب على الأجنحة”.

وأضاف: “أنا ببساطة لا أحب اللعب كرقم 9، على الرغم من أنني يجب أن أفعل ذلك في ريال مدريد، في البرازيل لدي حرية أكبر في التحرك”.

وأضاف: “المنتخب المصري يُعاني كثيرا في كل النواحي فيما عدا محمد الشناوي”.

وختم: “مصر على المستوى الهجومي من دون أنياب، وخط الدفاع به مشاكل، فيتوريا يمكنه عمل أفضل من ذلك فيما يتناسب مع حجم الأوراق التي معه”.

ويخوض منتخب مصر الأول تحت القيادة الفنية للمدرب البرتغالي روي فيتوريا، معسكرًا مغلقًا خلال فترة التوقف الدولي الحالية في الإمارات، يتخلله مباراتان وديتان أمام زامبيا والجزائر.

Aos 44 minutos da etapa inicial, o zagueiro trocou agressões com o atacante. Em um lance fora da disputa de bola, os dois discutiram de forma calorosa, e Rhodolfo deu um soco em Vizeu. Na seqüência, os atletas trocaram cabeçadas.

Na sequência do jogo os atletas voltaram a se desentender. O atacante fez o terceiro gol do Flamengo e, na comemoração, mostrou o dedo do meio para o defensor que ficou transtornado, dizendo que ia agredi-lo dentro do vestiário.

Logo após o jogo, os dois mostraram que tudo foi resolvido entre eles ainda no vestiário, deram entrevistas juntos e afirmaram que “era uma página virada”.

Ravi Shastri has backed the strong stance taken by his colleagues on the ICC’s cricket committee against bowlers with suspect actions, but admitted that the crackdown could have been done two-three years earlier.In its meeting in June, the cricket committee had suggested that it was important for match officials to get more help from bio-mechanists so that they could identify and report illegal actions “with more confidence”. Since June, six players have been reported for suspect actions and Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal and Sri Lanka’s Sachithra Senanayake were also banned after their actions were found illegal during testing.”See, you had to take a strong stance. And I think in this meeting of the technical committee, that strong stance was taken that let’s start nipping it in the bud,” he said. “As it is, it should have been done early. Like you said, probably sleeping or probably being a little too relaxed. [It] could have been done two-three years earlier but better late than never, I would say. At least a strong message has gone now to one and all that if an umpire on the field feels there is a flex, if his naked eye can pick up a flex, [that] means in real testing it will be a lot. I think it’s good for the game whether you like it or not.”Shastri also backed the recent financial reforms in the ICC, led by the BCCI, Cricket Australia and ECB, and said that the changes to the system of revenue distribution would benefit each Test-playing nation.”I think for the good of the game because if you look at the economics, and you have to live in the world of economics whether you like it or not, if the revenue stream is such where you get 80% revenue that comes from one country and then you expect the booty to be shared by say a country that hardly even contributes, it’s not fair,” he said.”You have to go with the flow. And it was acknowledged by all the boards, so I think it’s a very sensible decision which will benefit each and every cricketing nation who is part of the executive board of the ICC. Na segunda-feira, dia em que Daniel foi recepcionado por uma multidão no Aeroporto de Congonhas, a reportagem do LANCE! encontrou Helinho esperando um carro na saída do CT da Barra Funda enquanto assistia aos vídeos da chegada do reforço no celular. Na terça, Antony fez questão de estar no Morumbi para a cerimônia de apresentação do camisa 10 e classificou a noite como “histórica”.

– Eu estava em casa e, quando vi, não acreditei. É um cara que admiro muito como pessoal, pela cabeça que ele tem, a personalidade dele, e como atleta, por tudo que já ganhou, onde já jogou. Tenho muita coisa para perguntar para ele, porque o patamar que ele já atingiu é o que eu quero estar um dia – diz Igor Gomes.
