كشف نادي آرسنال عن قائمته الخاصة في بطولة الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، التي تضم 25 لاعبًا، وبها بعض المفاجآت حسبما ذكرت صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية.

وشهدت القائمة تواجد اللاعب المصري محمد النني، الذي يعاني من إصابة في أوتار الركبة ستبعده عن الملاعب لفترة طويلة من الوقت.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أن هناك بعض المفاجآت في قائمة آرسنال، مثل جورج لويس البالغ من العمر 22 عامًا، على الرغم من أنه لم يظهر بعد بشكل كبير.

تحدث خافيير تيباس رئيس رابطة الليجا، عن الجدل الذي لا ينتهي بشأن سقف رواتب الأندية وعلّق على النزاع بين برشلونة وأتلتيكو مدريد على أنطوان جريزمان.

وأوضح تيباس وخافيير جوميز، المدير العام لرابطة الليجا، بعد ظهر اليوم في مؤتمر صحفي لوسائل الإعلام ما هي حدود تكلفة الفريق التي يمكن أن يستهلكها كل ناد خلال الموسم.

بعد العرض الرسمي، الأسئلة التي وجهت لتيباس حول الزيادة المذهلة لبرشلونة من -144 إلى 656 مليون لم تستغرق وقتًا طويلاً لتظهر.

قال نائب الرئيس روميو في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية: “في العام المقبل سيتعين على برشلونة خفض الحد الأقصى للراتب الذي قد يتوافق مع ذلك، لن يكون هناك المزيد من الرافعات، إما أن يقوموا بمزيد من الروافع أو يخفضون الحد إلى حوالي 400 مليون”.

وأضاف تيباس: “لم يكن برشلونة معرضًا لخطر الإفلاس، فلديه فاتورة رواتب دقيقة، لكن لديه أصولًا كافية للمضي قدمًا”.

وفي تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية، قال تيباس: “الأمر واضح جدًا بالنسبة للرواتب، برشلونة النادي الوحيد الذي يقول إنه غير واضح، لكنهم يعرفون كيف تبدو السيطرة الاقتصادية ويعرفون أنه في عهد بارتوميو تم فرضها بنفس الطريقة”.

وأكمل: “ما يحدث هو ذلك، بسبب السياق لديهم، من الأفضل إلقاء اللوم على تيباس، عندما لا أكون المسؤول عن السيطرة الاقتصادية، لذلك، هناك مجلس من خمسة عشر شخصًا بقيادة المدير العام للشركة”.

وأكد أن طلب برشلونة ضد أتليتيكو مدريد بشأن دفع 40 مليون يورو لأنطوان جريزمان قد تم إرساله إلى لجنة التحكيم.

As per The Daily Mirror, Bill Kenwright has now called an emergency board meeting, with the Spaniard’s future high on the agenda.

Benitez is under pressure after the Toffees lost 4-1 to bitter rivals Liverpool at Goodison Park on Wednesday, making it eight games in the Premier League without tasting victory.

There is reportedly now a ‘growing concern’ among the board about the direction in which the club is going, and Marcel Brands has flown back in from the Netherlands, where he had been with family.

Farhad Moshiri is also due to travel back from the United States this weekend to meet with board members, all with the aim of coming to a decision over Benitez’s future.

Aside from Forrest’s impressive impact last weekend, another reason why Postecoglou simply must start the £15k-per-week winger on Thursday is the rather contrasting recent displays of Liel Abada, as, aside from a good showing against Ferencvaros, the 20-year-old has not been in the best of form over the past month or so.

As such, with a win being of the utmost importance in Germany, the 56-year-old Bhoys boss must unleash the man who Tam McManus claimed “always shows up” for the Hoops – as he could well be Celtic’s cup hero once again.

West Indies’ interim coach David Williams has refused to label the current team as ‘second-string’ and has backed his players to put in a strong performance in the upcoming Champions Trophy.The region’s top players, including Chris Gayle, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, sat out the recent home series against Bangladesh following the contracts dispute between the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and the West Indies Players Association (WIPA) and were not named in the 14-man squad for the Champions Trophy, to be played in South Africa from September 22 to October 5.Williams, 45, who replaced John Dyson as coach after the dismal showing in the two Tests and three ODIs against Bangladesh, said while the team lacked experience, they possessed the tenacity to perform well.”At the end of the day, whoever goes out there to play is representing the West Indies and is a West Indies team,” Williams told . “The guys in the team may not be the most experienced but they are willing and have plenty of talent. We intend to work with these players so that they would be competitive in South Africa.”West Indies are in Group A of the Champions Trophy, alongside world champions Australia, world Twenty20 champions Pakistan and India.
